The last few months have been very exciting for the Indian team as well as for the Chennai Super Kings players, both Indian and International. And this is in no small measure thanks to your unwavering support.
Several of you have been writing to us asking to launch an official Chennai Super Kings fan club. As the Captain of the Chennai Super Kings, I'm happy to inform you about the launch of our official membership programme - "Kings Club".
True to its name, the Club aims to make you feel like royalty (as an ardent fan of the team, you deserve no less!). The Club's focus will be in bringing the fans closer to the game and the team, while a whole host of benefits awaits you. IPL 3 is just round the corner and Chennai Superkings is all set for the battle. This season is all set to blaze in India and needless to say, Chepauk is gearing up for a host of matches featuring YOUR team! As members of the Kings Club, you are entitled to certain privileges that make it more convenient for you to watch matches and cheer your team to dramatic wins. Here is the list of benefits that Kings Club offers, just for you!
Tickets
1) Kings Club Members can buy their tickets at the exclusive Kings Counter at the office of The India Cements Limited, at Fourth Floor, “Dhun Building” 827, Anna Salai, 600 002, from 25th February to 1st March 2010.
2) An exclusive Kings Club stand (F-stand) is being created at the M. A. Chidambaram stadium. Every Kings Club member with a valid membership card is entitled for a special offer only in F Stand.
3) For the first ticket purchased by a member in the Kings Club stand, one additional ticket will be given as complimentary. This offer is not valid for additional tickets purchased. The cost of a ticket in this stand is Rs. 500/-. This offer is valid for all the 7 home matches played at Chennai only. The cost of the ticket(s) purchased will have to be paid in cash only.
4) This is a limited period offer on tickets purchased between 25th February and 1st March. The tickets for all the 7 home matches will be available during this period. Tickets purchased after this date will not be eligible for the complimentary ticket offer.
5) Members need to bring their Membership card and photo ID for purchasing the tickets under this scheme.
6) This offer is only available for the tickets purchased at Fourth Floor, “Dhun Building” 827, Anna Salai, 600 002.
Practice Sessions & Autograph
1) Members will be permitted to watch a practice session by the Chennai Super Kings team. The date, time and venue will be intimated to the members by a separate invitation letter. On the specified date and time, the members will be permitted to watch the practice sessions from the stand and get autographs from the players .
2) Members need to bring their membership card, photo ID and the invitation letter for entry. For the junior members (Blue color membership card holders), one person can accompany them during the practice session. For the autograph session, only the members will be permitted.

What is the cost of the membership?

Will there just be one category like with the fan cards or will there be an
adult and child membership?
|
|
There are two membership schemes viz Kids and adult members. The adult scheme is
Rs 1000 and the kids scheme is Rs 500.

If current fan card holders misplace or have their card stolen during next season
will you still replace the card?
|
|
In the event that your Fan Card is lost or stolen, please let the Ticket Office
know immediately in writing. Your Fan Card will then be deactivated and a new Fan
Card will be issued for a fee of Rs 50. The data held on your lost or stolen Fan
Card will be transferred onto your new Fan Card.

What is the age limit for the junior scheme?
|
|
The kids scheme is open to all school going children, although the benefits and
pack contents are recommended for ages 7-15.

How do I get my retail discount?
|
|
To claim your members' discount in partners stores simply show your membership card
and a second form of photo ID. For on-line and mail order purchases you will need

|

In order for the Members Card to be in the correct name and correspondence to be
sent to the correct address, the new member's details must be provided rather than
the buyer's contact details.

There is no specific deadline for joining the Kings Club.

Can I apply for more than 1 ticket?
|
|
Yes, but different limitations will apply from match to match.

Why is there no free ticket as part of the membership?
|
|
We have a discount on all season tickets and the season tickets themselves are discounted
as compared to the daily match tickets. In combination with the ticket guarantee
and discounts on individual match tickets, this is a superior offer to bundling
of specific tickets and specific stands.

Why is there no discount for CLT20 matches?
|
|
The Champions League matches are organized and hosted by the BCCI and not by the
Chennai Superkings. Thus no guarantees or discounts can be offered to our fans alone.

What will be the contents of the gift hamper?
|
|
This will change from time to time and is not fixed.
|

What do i do if i change my address?
|
|
In the event you change your address it is important that you send confirmation
to us, in writing, at the Kings Club office. In all communications you must include
your membership number so we can accurately identify your records on our database.
